Getting To Know Yourself

Services
Individual Therapy
Before we begin individual therapy, it’s normal to feel unsure about opening up to someone you don’t yet know. You may be accustomed to handling things on your own or keeping your inner world private. That hesitation makes sense. You may find yourself wondering,

What should I expect?!
You may begin therapy feeling overwhelmed by emotions that don’t quite make sense, stuck in relationship patterns that feel hard to change, or carrying the weight of past experiences that still shape how you relate to yourself and others. You may have something specific you want to work on, or simply a sense that life could feel different. You don’t need to arrive with clarity or all the right words.
This is more than a place to talk. It’s a steady, attuned space where you’re met with warmth, honesty, and thoughtful challenge. I take a relational approach and tailor interventions to each individual - helping you explore what’s beneath the surface, recognize patterns, and stay grounded as change unfolds.
If you’re unsure where to begin, that’s okay - I’ll help guide the way.
This is a team effort.

During the early sessions, as you begin to explore emotions you may not have fully recognized before, you may temporarily feel worse rather than better. This is a common part of the process. Together, we will work to identify and gently approach these difficult feelings so they feel more manageable and less overwhelming.

You're not alone.

After a few more sessions, you will have a clearer sense of what to expect and whether I am a good fit for you. From there, we will clarify treatment goals and begin building a foundation to help you feel more balanced, healthy, and safe moving forward.

Family Therapy
We all grow and relate within systems, and family can be a powerful one. In family therapy, we'll explore the patterns and dynamics that shape how you connect, communicate, and support one another. Not all families can - or should - do this work together, and that’s okay. My role is to help you find what feels safe, clear, and right for you.
